About the event
In this class, which will be held at the beautiful White Oak Savanna in Dodgeville, your Pheasants Forever experts will dive into the basics of prescribed fire. The morning will consist of a classroom style setting, where we will present on topics such as fire behavior, burn unit prep, fire safety and more. Then, in the afternoon we will head outside to check out the equipment and, if weather permits, get to do some live fire exercises!
There are 25 spots available for this class. Coffee and light snacks provided throughout the day. Lunch will be provided around noon.
