Iowa County Land Conservationist
Katie has worked in Iowa County for over 13 years helping farmers and landowners with conservation programs. She first worked as a Project Coordinator for Southwest Badger Resource Conservation and Development Council, then as the Conservation Programs Manager for Driftless Area Land Conservancy, and now as the County Conservationist for the Iowa County Land Conservation Department.
Katie received her B.S. Biology, Environmental Science minor from UW-Eau Claire, and M.S. Conservation Biology from UMN. Her commitment to rural life and conservation comes through her private and public life.
