About the event

A joint BMAP event with The Prairie Enthusiasts, this 5.5hr through-hike starts at Blue Mounds State Park, moves through Pleasure Valley Conservancy, and ends at the TPE Parrish Savanna. See some excellent land management that involves the hard work of state & county government, local non-profits, and private citizens.

The Bluemound Park trip includes a 5 mile hike from the East Tower over to Brigham County Park and completely traverses our Pleasure Valley Conservancy ending at the top of TPE Parrish Savanna.  We meet at Parrish Savanna and car shuttle to the East Tower to start.  Total time is about 5 to 5 1/2 hours. Terrain will generally be flat and downhill, but hiking poles are encouraged given the distance.
