About the event

Join us for a pasture walk as we feature the work of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources on their Southwest Wisconsin Grasslands and Streams Conservation Area - Davis Unit.


The tour will be led by grazing and land management experts from the Wisconsin DNR, NRCS, Audubon Conservation Ranching, and more.


This free pasture walk will take participants throughout the property to three different stops:


Stop 1: Learn about the site's history and bird management objectives.

Stop 2: Learn about grazier techniques.

Stop 3: Learn about various technical assistance and cost-share programs available to graziers.


Note: This walk will be up to two miles on uneven surfaces.
