About the event
Debbie and Peter Manke's 40 acre parcel now contains thriving oak woodlands and restored prairies, but much of this property used to consist of agricultural pasture. Luckily, Debbie and Peter knew the value of their remnant woodland, utilized cost-share programs to re-introduce native prairie species, and are now working on guiding a former pine/oak plantation into a young oak woodland. Their 40 acres has something to offer any landowner pursuing restoration, so please join BMAP for a fantastic tour!
